This has been a difficult week. It almost feels like the closer I get to knowing God’s plan the more difficult the day becomes but this where I have to allow God the opportunity to be GOD! This is where faith meets reality so do I believe His Holy Word and live it out or fall to the fear of the unknown?
God needs warriors. Being afraid is natural but having faith in the face of fear is the challenge that Christ has shown leads to a blessing for everyone.
I want to be a warrior for Christ so I choose FAITH!! ~~twh.

We all know fashion is a big thing. How you look, how you present yourself, how you walk and how you talk is all designed to impress others.
What God is interested in is us impressing Him. We can take what He has given us—resources, good looks, talents, even our ability to relate to other people—and “kingdomize” it.
In other words, He can stitch those things together and use them for eternal purposes.
Esther was a beautiful lady, she just hadn’t made a connection between her looks and God’s kingdom. God wanted to use the beauty He had given her to place her in a strategic role to protect God’s people for God’s glory and to be a tool for keeping God’s promises.
God’s not impressed with the external; He likes the internal to be beautiful. But, when the external can complement it and reflect the beauty on the inside, you then become useful to God, because He’s got a heart and soul He can use, and it’s in a person He can be proud of.
So, righteously impress others, but more importantly, impress God, because when God is impressed with you, you can be used for eternity and not just for a time. That will fade away. We get older, the clothes fade out, the money dries up, but a righteous man or woman who can be used by God, that pays eternal dividends.

One of the greatest tools that the enemy uses against the followers of Christ is fear. It’s a legendary weapon that Satan has wielded with an amazing degree of success. In response, God repeatedly gave us His promises that He would never leave us. If we would be strong and courageous, if we would put our fears in their proper perspective, we would realize that we are more than conquerors. As believers, we have been provided with the full armor of God but we must take the steps to keep it on and carry it with us into every situation, both small & large.
Our ability to overcome is not in doubt. That battle was won by Jesus Christ on the cross more than 2,000 yrs ago but the daily challenges that Satan & his minions throw at us often make us regress into old ways of thinking. They try to get us distracted so we’re not moving forward with the plans God has for us, plans for good and not disaster, plans that give us a future and hope. They try to make us forget that we are children of the KING and as such, we are empowered with all the gifts for us to wage a successful war.
No matter how far we have come. No matter how many times we have made it through the storms, there is more for us. As long as we are breathing in this lifetime, God has more for us. Keep reading, keep praying, keep fasting, keep believing, keep serving, keep sharing, keep hoping, keep loving… God is not finished with us yet!!~~twh

One major lesson we’ve learned in operating our studio is that “it’s not all about us nor is it all about our artwork.’
These opportunities have been provided by God for our blessings to be shared. They are to be passed along to anyone who has a desire to do more in life and grow in their relationship with Christ.
When we realized that our creative art & business are directly tied to our effort to build lasting relationships that nutured models, clients, makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion stylists, and the diverse crowds of people in this business, we found our niche. We found our place in a busy, overcrowded, oversaturated industry.
It wasn’t just the quality of the product that has made us but the energy and effort put into the relationships with those involved.
When we look beyond the photos to the real person sitting in front of the lens, that’s when we find our true blessings. The moment we connect on a personal level is when the magic of photographic creativity takes a back seat to the glory of God’s blessings being shared. Whether we are sharing a heartfelt moment, laughing about kids, sharing testimonies, or mentoring a marriage, these are the priceless gems. These are the ultimate blessings. Read // Malachi 1:6-14
The prophet Malachi wrote approximately a century after Israel had returned from Babylonian captivity and rebuilt both Jerusalem and the temple. Although there’d been a revival under Nehemiah, by this point the nation had lost its zeal and drifted into mechanical worship.
Instead of offering unblemished animals on the altar as prescribed in the Law, they were bringing God the leftovers of their flocks—the sick, blind, and lame. The people and the priests had become so lax in their worship that they didn’t recognize anything was wrong with these unacceptable practices. Because they had neglected and dishonored the Lord for so long, they no longer knew who He was. As a result, they were not giving Him the reverence He deserved.
Although our form of worship no longer consists of animal sacrifices, we may be guilty of the same sin: giving God the leftovers. Like the priests in Malachi 1:13 who considered worship tiresome, we might think, There are so many other things we could do if we didn’t have to go to church every Sunday morning.
But worship isn’t limited to one day out of seven. It should be expressed all week in our devotion to Christ. If we make other activities the priorities in our life, we won’t give God our best. Filling our calendars to overflowing leaves little time or energy for praying, reading the Word, or serving the Lord in some way. Trusting in God to provide what we need is an example of faith by thoughts, but doing something, taking action, taking steps based on the promises of God is Faith in Action.
Today, will we think about having faith or live in faith?
If we live by faith, others will hear and see our faith in action. Our actions will demonstrate God’s love for us by our love for others.
